Very Reverend Canon Bernard Donovan, Co-PP, Kilmurry, Co Cork.
Donovan (Cloughduv): On 7th July 2024, Canon Bernard passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice.
Dearly loved brother of Kieran, Nora and Anthony. Lovingly remembered by his nephews Ian, Aidan, Ronan and Paul, niece Susan, sister-in-law Rita, brother-in-law Tony, grandnephews and grandnieces, relatives, Bishop Fintan Gavin, Bishop Emeritus John Buckley, the Clergy of the Diocese of Cork and Ross, the Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy, parishioners (including in the former Cork and Ross Diocesan Mission in Trujillo, Peru) and a large circle of friends.

Arrangements

Canon Bernard will repose at his residence (P14FK49) on Tuesday from 12noon to 4.30pm.
Canon Bernard will lie in rest in St. Joseph's Church, Cloughduv (P14VX33), on Tuesday from 5pm until celebration of Vespers at 7.30pm.
Concelebrated Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12.00 noon in St Joseph's Church, Cloughduv, which will be live streamed
