Rusheen and Kingswood Heights, Dublin)
Margaret (Maw) passed away peacefully on 24th June 2021 in the dedicated
care of the nurses, doctors and staff of St. Mary’s Ward, Mercy
University Hospital, Cork.
Beloved sister of Kathleen Shannon (Rusheen), Michael Murphy (Brockton,
US) and the late David, Paddy, Sheila and Jackie. Sister-in-law to Seán,
Mary, Anne, Nancy, Jim and the late Maureen. Much loved and very special
aunt and grandaunt to Mary, Mairéad, Catherine, Conor and their families
and to all her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Devoted
Godmother to Caroline, Niamhmarie, Eimear, Gráinne and the late Eileen.
Very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sister, brother,
brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces,
grandnephews, godchildren, cousins, her great community of neighbours in
Oakwood Macroom, all her relatives and her many friends.



Arrangements

A private funeral will take place in keeping with government guidelines regarding public gatherings. Margaret’s Requiem Mass will take place in St John the Baptist Church, Rusheen at 11 am Saturday and will be live streamed on:

Funeral afterwards to St Colman’s Cemetery, Macroom
