John A. Dunlea, Loughleigh, Carrigadrohid, Co. Cork (1944 – 2024)
After a long illness, very bravely fought, we lost our lovely John on the 26th of October 2024 in the Bon Secours Hospital, Cork. Beloved husband of Nula (née Humphreys), dear father of Jacqui (Sheehan), Lynn (O’Callaghan), Stephanie (Murphy), Pat, Hilda (O’Sullivan) and John. Good friend and father-in-law of Michael Sheehan, Aidan O’Callaghan, Martin Murphy, Michelle Gorman, Der O’Sullivan and Shona Edwards. Adored grandfather of Rebecca, Isobel, Edel, Colm, Madeleine, Dorothy, Isabelle, Aidan, Rachel, Cormac, Fionn, Sarah, John, Sophia, Kate, Ted, Anna, Nula, Humphrey, Heáilí and Róisín. Predeceased by his dear sisters Ena and Nora. Sadly missed by his siblings Michael, Derry, Pat, Mona, Tess and Mary; his brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and many, many friends.

Arrangements

Reposing at Fitz-Geralds Funeral Home, Macroom (P12 KX79) on Sunday from 4.00pm to 6.00pm with prayers. Requiem Mass on Bank Holiday Monday at 12, noon in St John the Baptist Church, Canovee, (P12 HV57) and can be viewed on https://sites.google.com/view/life-is-a-river/home funeral afterwards to St. Colman’s Cemetery, Macroom.
