McCarthy (Knockane,Tarelton formerly of Clohane,Bandon)
On the 8th of January 2026, peacefully in the loving care of Cork University Hospital and in the presence of his family Dermot, beloved husband of Margaret and dad of Damien, Deirdre, Trevor and Shelly, granddad of Lily, brother of the late Donie. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters and their partners, grandchild, brothers Paddy and J.J, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephew, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Arrangements

Reposing at Fitz-Gerald’s Funeral Home Macroom (P12KX79) On Sunday
from 4.00 pm to 5.30pm with prayers.
Requiem Mass Monday at 11.30 am in St Finbarr's Church, Toames (P12A593). Funeral afterwards to Tarelton Cemetery.
No flowers please donations if desired to
Cork University Hospital or Mercy University Hospital.
