On 11th January 2026, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the exemplary care of Macroom Community Hospital, Michael, loving husband of Margaret (née Murphy), son of the late Jackie and Peggy, brother of Seanie and Margaret and the late Patsy and Joanie, beloved father of Sandra, Declan, Mark, Peter, Patrick, Seán and Darren. Sadly missed by his wife, children, son-in-law, Patsy, daughter-in-law, Ciara, son’s partners, Emer, Lauren and Anne-Marie and his adoring grandchildren.

Arrangements

Reception into St. Colman’s Church, Macroom (P12VP20) at 6pm with prayers on Tuesday 13th January, reposing until 7.30pm. Requiem Mass in St. Colman’s Church, Macroom on Wednesday 14th January at 2.30pm which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/macroom followed by burial in St. Colman’s Cemetery, Macroom. Donations in lieu of flowers to Macroom Community Hospital in Memory of Michael Burns.
