On January 16th, 2026, peacefully in her 95th year, surrounded by her loving family and in the excellent care of the staff of Cahereen Nursing Home, Macroom. Joan (Nee O’ Leary) beloved wife of the late Ted, loving mother of Michael, Clare and Catherine, mother-in-law of Norma, much loved Grandmother of Tim, Susie, Clare and Michelle. Deeply regretted by her son, daughters, Clare’s partner John, daughter-in -law, grandchildren, Clare’s husband Patrick, nieces and nephews, carers and wide circle of friends.

Arrangements

Reposing in Fitz-Geralds Funeral Home Macroom (P12KX79) Sunday from 5pm to 6pm followed by Removal to St. Colman’s Church, Macroom (P12VP20). Requiem Mass in St. Colman’s Church, Macroom on Monday at 12 noon which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/macroom followed by burial in St. Colman’s Cemetery, Macroom.
