On January 19th, 2026 after a short illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family, at Cork University Hospital, John (Johno) beloved husband of Mary (nee Lynch), loving father of Julie, Kevin, Geraldine, Paula and Fiona, devoted Grandad, dear brother of James (Goalie), Nora, Marian and the late Dan and Pauline, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law.
Sadly missed by his sons-in-law and daughter-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.


Arrangements

Reposing in Fitz-Geralds Funeral Home Macroom (P12KX79) Wednesday from 6pm to 7.30pm followed by Removal to St. Colman’s Church, Macroom (P12VP20). Requiem Mass in St. Colman’s Church, Macroom on Thursday at 2.30pm which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/macroom followed by burial in St. Colman’s Cemetery, Macroom. Please leave your personal message of condolence for John’s family on the link on Rip.ie.
Due to the reduced parking on Chapel Hill please park in the town car park.
