The death has occurred of Gaetano Ciarcia.
Gurteenroe, Millstreet Road, Macroom, Co. Cork / Windsor, UK / Avellino, Italy.
On February 12th, 2026, peacefully at Marymount Hospice, surrounded by his family. Gaetano, devoted husband of Margaret (née Lucey), loving father of Caroline (Murphy) and father-in-law of Jamie. A proud and beloved Nonno to his treasured grandchildren Sonny, Bella and Finn. Predeceased by his parents, Enrico and Carolina and his brother Giuseppe.
Deeply regretted by his wife, daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, brothers-in-law especially John and his wife Ann, nephew Pa, nieces Amy and Emma, relatives in Italy, extended family and friends.

Arrangements

Reception into St Colman’s Church, Macroom (P12 VP20) on Sunday, 15th February, from 5.00pm with prayers. Reposing until 6.30pm.
Requiem Mass on Monday, 16th February, at 12.30pm in St Colman’s Church, Macroom, which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/macroom, followed by burial in St Colman’s Cemetery, Macroom.
Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, in lieu to Marymount Hospice.
